Nestlé birthday cake with CERELAC® Infant Cereal Wheat & Honey

Ingredients A
- 200g self-raising flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Other ingredients
- 100g CERELAC® Infant Cereal Wheat & Honey
- 300g unsalted butter or margarine
- 200g caster sugar
- 4 eggs (grade B)
- ¼(62ml) cup calcium enriched milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Sift together ingredients A and stir in CERELAC® Infant Cereal Wheat with Honey; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
- Stir in milk and vanilla essence.
- Fold dry ingredients A.
- Lightly grease and line two 20cm round cake pan with grease-proof paper. Spoon cake mixture into the cake pans.
- Bake in preheated 180°C oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until the cake is done (when a knife inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean).
- Remove cake from oven and cool down in the cake pan.
- Decorate cake with store bought cake icing before serving.
Yummy Apple & Cranberry Muffins
Serves 20 pieces

Ingredients A
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
Other ingredients
- ¾ cup CERELAC® Infant Cereal Rice & Mixed Fruits
- 150g unsalted butter or margarine
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup milk
Instructions
- Sift together ingredients A, and stir in CERELAC® Infant Cereal Rice & Mixed Fruits.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy. Stir in egg, essence and milk.
- Fold in Ingredients A.
- Place mixture into patty tins to ¾ full, spread evenly.
- Bake in preheated 180°C oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack.
